De-act Maltby 1943 Lee Enfield No4 mk1. £200
Maltby rifles were mostly built up from subcontracted parts so they are interesting to take apart and investigate for maker marks.
Shame it will be going to one of the OBLI chaps next time I see him.

and yes my mapcase is the full type, but curiously dated 1944,
so it was either made and sent out/stamped later. or they made both types right upto the end of the war. it was in unused condition too.
A new AGM shotgun from action hobbies. £20 bargain.

Received my sten bandolier today from allmadeups in India (fabricators on ebay). Not bad value for £35 inc postage considering SOF is £50 plus postage and What price glory about the same. AGM MP40 mags fit perfectly. Just needs weathering a bit now.

FJ helmet cover from Panther Stores.
Oh, and a fat dish from SoF. ![]()

Sorry to spoil the moment, but the customs bill from TNT will be along soon. Happened to me.
Still turned out cheaper than SOF's + shipping price, though.

Luftwaffe belt from Epic for £3.50 posted. Not the right colour and the buckle hook is a bit flimsey but can't complain at that price.
A belt very close to the Soviet EM equipment belt brought back by my old man from Morrocco. Its the right colour, depth and length, its just the buckle that isn't quite perfect. A pure fluke as he just bought because he thought I'd like it! ![]()

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."
